PGDM Admission Process at Muthoot Business School

What is the admission process for the PGDM program at Muthoot Business School?

Admission to the PGDM program at MBS is based on eligibility, test scores (MSAT or national exams), and a personal interview. Selected students must pay a registration fee to confirm their seat and begin their internship.

What are the eligibility criteria for applying?

Minimum qualification

A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks is required. SC/ST candidates need 45%.

What is MSAT and who needs to take it?

MSAT (Muthoot Scholastic Aptitude Test) is the internal entrance test. It is mandatory unless exempted based on other test scores.

  • Application fee: ₹1,200 (non-refundable)

Can I skip MSAT if I have a valid test score?

Yes, you are exempt from MSAT if you have:

  • 70 percentile or above in any of the following:

    • CAT

    • MAT (May 2024 onward)

    • XAT

    • CMAT

    • GMAT

    • ATMA

What is the selection process after the entrance test?

Step 1 – Personal Interview

Shortlisted candidates must attend a one-on-one interview.

Step 2 – Registration & Confirmation

Selected candidates must pay a ₹25,000 registration fee within 48 hours to confirm their seat and start the internship.

What are the next steps after registration?

  • Relocate to assigned internship location (May 2025)

  • Begin pre-PGDM internship with ₹25,000/month stipend

  • PGDM classes begin in September 2025
